Rod Ryan out

I keep hearing that Clear Channel is going to have to dump some talent in order to hold onto Elliot Segal in Washington DC. The word is that they will be syndicating his show onto The Edge in Dallas and The Buzz in Houston. That would mean that Lex And Terry and Rod Ryan will be forced out. Can anyone confirm?

I thought his contract just got renewed for 3 years. Although I don't care for Rod too much, It seems he performs pretty well in the ratings.

Sure, it's fun to speculate, but why would The Buzz kill a morning show that is getting numbers in their target demo? Plus, he did just get a new 3 year deal. As for L & T, I don't know the numbers they get in Dallas. Either way, it would be putting an unknown on the air in two major markets. Elliot does well in D.C., but as far as audiences in Houston and Dallas are concerned, nobody knows or cares at the moment.

I can not see CC making suh a move with one of the few stations in Houston that is doing well.
They struggle with nearly all the others moving shows, eliminating talent, and re inventing the same old thing. I can't even with the foresaid believe they would do that. I do not listen to the Buzz often but when I do the talent and station sound good. CC will probally continue to build KTRH again each book by taking away from what works on KPRC. They might even reinvent Mix again with version 1,000,000.1!!!!
