Rodgers Claims He Was Forced Out

From Joe Garofoli's political blog at SF Gate: Lee Rodgers claims he was told by KSFO management that he was let go moments after his Thursday show had ended. He states that he was considering retirement after the end of his current contract (4 1/2 months from now), but that he certainly would have said goodbye to his listeners.

Finally, he claims Citadel is trying to weasel out of paying him for the time left on his contract.

Great stuff in the comments section of that SFGate article, regarding ultra-righty Rodgers whining about being downsized by a big evil corporation (but Lee, you said corporations were good!) and turning to his union for help (but Lee, you said unions were evil!). Ah, irony.

The only thing I ever liked about his show was the pet adoption feature he and Melanie had. Other than that, I couldn't stand the right-wing rants between him, Melanie and Officer Vic.
 
Lee and Melanie found a wonderful home for a certain german shepherd...who is now living in the lap of luxury..thanks to both.
