Roe Conn on WGN Radio AND WLS AM

Even after a year and a half of Roe Conn hosting afternoon drive on WGN Radio just doesn't feel right to me, I haven't really been a daily listener to his show on WGN Radio. Or anybody's show on WGN Radio on afternoon drive since they demoted Garry Meier to the stream, and then canceled his show all together. After a 25 year run on WLS AM 890, but I don't think he will go 25 years on WGN Radio on afternoon drive, and like anybody hasn't anyways. But while on WLS AM I know he has worked both as an solo show host and with an on air partner that has included Garry Meier and also the last 4 years on WLS Richard Roeper that reviews movies on his show. I know that Roe & Garry had an 8 year run that ended in 2004. And in a time slot that starts and ends one hour after his old time slot on WLS AM which was 2:00-6:00 P.M. Which on WGN Radio he gets to do cross talk with whomever that he follows which for most of that time has been Bill Leff & Wendy Synder on, WLS AM show as far as I am aware of, he has always followed the syndicated Rush Limbaugh, so he wouldn't have done cross talk with him at all. So it most had to take him sometime to get used to coming into a studio like WGN Radio's all state Showcase Studio where people actually on the air rather then an empty studio carrying a syndicated show, or how it was the first 9 months or so that he had followed Bob Sirott and Marrianne Muricano and if they weren't in studio buy hosting their show viva a remote broadcast.

Roe wasn't always followed by syndication on WLS, though you probably have to go back to the 1990s to find out the last time he was followed by a local host.

But that was as far as I know of, how can you even find out who the local host was that he followed before he started following Rush Limbaugh?

I've slept since then. (Even as mid-day host, his "second cup" (2-3pm) followed Rush, by the way. I don't remember if Catherine Jons was still doing evenings before Roe and Garry took to the afternoons, Tai Wansley was one, I think even Jay Marvin before he moved to late nights. There were probably a couple I forgot, the slot tended to be a revolving door.
