Roger, Darren & Marilyn

I don't live in the GTA, but I listen to Toronto radio fairly often. When I wake up, I turn on CHUM-FM on my iPhone and listen to RD&M (usually around 6:30 Central, since I live in Kansas). Now, Roger and Marilyn have been there since...'86, if I'm correct, and Darren's been there since '08 when Rick Hodge left because CHUM Limited (soon to be CTV) basically took all of his fun bits away. What are your thoughts on the show? Do you find it entertaining and funny? Do you think the show sounded better with Rick on it? Or, here's the big one: Do you think Erin & Mike are better?

This is an excellent topic, but it's also at at a confusing time where Astral media has made an exit.
(sold to CTV/Bell, meaning CTV now owns too many radio stations in the Toronto market)

Otherwise, I normally would prefer the (Astral media owned) Boom 97.3 morning show with Stu in the morning...but I do kinda wish they'd add "KCC".
Stu and KCC are a great team for the 80's show, so why not the morning show too???

Put Stu & KCC in the morning together and you've really got a great battle going between stations.

Looks like Hodgey is back at 105.7 in St. Catharines.

But yeah, with the Bell/Astral merger, how's that going to play out? I like the CRTC rule on 2 FM/2 AMs per market, unlike in the US, but I wonder, though, if the CRTC is going to relax more rules?

In doing so, if Bell gets the go ahead, it will give Rogers the go ahead to do the same. (fair's fair!)
There will be many job losses.

Getting back to Rick, I think he was hired because he's the best way to compete with ED FM and Z101.
He's a good asset to Niagara's EZ Rock.
I just hope Bell realizes "If it ain't broke...don't fix it!!!"

...and Bell did not get to buy Astral. I'm guessing Astral will still sell to someone else.
