Roger Hedgecock gets daily syndicated show

That was in the plan all along, for Roger to expand nationwide during the weekday. There's a lot of shows: Roger (starting January), Michael Weiner (Savage) and Hugh Hewett. Add Tom Leykis and that's a crowded field.

His Saturday show ends in November. Michael Reagan sent comments to me at http://SDRadio.net.

Hedgecock has been making big, big bucks since he went on the air after his disgraceful exit form the mayor's office. Like pretty much every other high paid radio announcer, he pays a pittance to his support staff because he can, and that kind of thing doesn't change without some compelling reasons and guilt is not one of them.

Those comments by Micahel Reagan sound a little similar to what Chris Cantore said just before he went to internet radio. Hmmmm.....
 
Well Roger has the best support staff in SD. Angela Bottini is just flat out awesome, if you have ever met her she is probably the most dynamic person you will ever meet. And Jimmy Valentine is one of the most genuine people I have ever met, I have so much respect for Jimmy, and it was a pleasure to see Jimmy, Angela, and Roger everyday. Others had problems with Roger, but he always treated me well, and I would have done anything for that show!

Congrats Roger you deserve it, hopefully one day you will be Limbaugh in the ratings. And it shows Roger's talent that he has surrounded himself with the finest character of people in SD. I hope one day to work at the great KOGO once again someday.

I just hope there is a news staff left there when I get there again.
