ROGER HEDGECOCK OUT AT KOGO?

An item on a San Diego political website suggests that longtime KOGO host Roger Hedgecock (former mayor of San Diego) has been scuttled from the station and will show up on 760 KFMB to replace another longtime KFMB talker, Rick Roberts, who was replaced by a hyper-tongued morning drive guy from Nashville, Mike Slater.

Any word on what this will mean for his syndicated show? That was his flagship, right?

Obviously, his days for subbing for Rush are done (CC, syndicator of Rush, owns KOGO), if they haven't been already.

Politicians with past legal problems seem to be a key part of cable TV, maybe he can take Spitzer's place on CNN or sub for the Appalachian Trail Governor on Fox.

It sounds like Radio America is his employer. He said on his show once that he had to take a pay cut to go national.

Thanks for the clue. 8)

He does have a calm pleasant voice and manor of speaking, (maybe that is his problem?) His politics are the same old, same old, for talk radio.
