Roll with the Audio-Technica 4047???

Folks, I'm settin' up a new voice tracking / production studio...so far I'm running the new Aphex 230 voice processor into a LynxOne audio adapter on a beefed up Dell. I need a mic to nicely complement the Aphex - I'm ALMOST set to roll with a TLM 103, but I was looking at some of the "almost there's" and wondering if they'd be worth a try (mics like the Audio-Technica 4047sv or 4050). Any thoughts or should I save the trouble and time and get the TLM 103? And also if anybody knows any sites besides voice123 where I can sign up for voice tracking gigs (I've got Prophet and Scott Studios voice tracking software setup and a nice fast DSL link...) Oh, and if ya need it, I'm a premium member of voice 123 and I don't know that it's done anything for me, in case some of you are thinking about droppin' the $200 on it).. :) L8..

What does the Prophet software run? Is it feasible for most?

I too am a Voice123 Premium member. I've got a few gigs. So far I've broke even on my dues. Next gig and I'm in the black, so not a wash for me. <P ID="signature">______________
