Ron was a heck of a nice guy! I saw him about two years ago at a job fair. I mentioned that I was interested in getting back in the industry. He gave me his business card and said, "call me." Sadly, I never did call him. God speed, Ron. Rest in peace.
Funny, I too re-connected with Ron at a Job Fair at the convention center a couple years back. I knew Ron from my friendship with Rick D'Amico and when I was the station image voice for Channel 10 in the 80's....!
