I was thinking maybe -- THE LONG AND WINDING ROAD! or Elvis' version of "MY WAY"...
From someone who will admit that he "stole" a lot from Ron Chapman when I made my living in Lufkin, Texas... they say that Immitation is the greatest form of flattery, and for every "Tease" and every "pause" that is intentional, I just thank Ron for being what he was and is--- The Master of the airwaves. All good things must come to an end, and eras come and go, and even the Red Sox can end a curse! So with that-- I tip my hat, and say with reverence... Thank you Ron-- for 45 years of great Dallas/Ft. Worth Radio, and even for those times that you were the TASK MASTER and even some would say the Tyrant! IT all comes to show that some paid attention, and took what you taught and made it their own.
The Mornings are in good hands with Jody and Crew, and I hope that one day we will once again cross paths so I might say Thank you to you in person!
Just A THOUGHT!
