Ron Engelman Has Passed Away

Ron Engelman, who served as John London's better half on the London & Engelman Show on KMEL, passed away from lung cancer early this morning, according to a note I received this afternoon from his daughter, Krista.

We're losing too many good radio people, and ain't nobody coming along to replace them.

[EDIT] Personnally i never met Russ the Moose or J Paul Emerson, two guys who left a "Big Void" in radio,, Right here in the bay Area.[EDIT] These guys contributed alot of Choice ,,Memorable entertainment,, to me and thousands of other people! Kenny in Concord

Ron was one of the greats. I worked with him twice. First in 1971 at chr 1280 KTLK in Denver where he was a straight newsman. His best work was ahead of him. The second time here in Palm Springs where he did a morning drive talk show on 1010 KPSL in the mid 1990's. He will be missed.
