Ron Fineman Passes Away

I subscribed to his website for a while, he started out having good inside dirt on the LA TV industry but then got preachy and it turned into a "this is wrong because I don't like it" site.

Still, it's a sad day that he passed. He had been sick a long, long time.

He was a really nice guy and a consummate pro. How tragic.

Ron still had the dirt, but I truly think it became more of a critical look at TV news because of his condition. Fighting his illness had to have taken quite a bit of his energy and that made finding the story a little tougher. He was usually dead-on correct in his opinions. I only hope that his last days were as pain free as could be...

I am sorry for his loss to his family.

Now is not the time to discuss the many shortcomings of his column.
