Ron Oliviera on KTVT?

Hello, what's this? It's Ron Oliviera anchoring the Monday 5pm newscast on CBS 11. I hadn't watched that show lately. Is this something new? I thought I saw him in some election reports for one of the channels. Is here here now? I know him from Austin and KVUE-24.
Ron is arguably the best News Anchor in the state. He's also a great guy.
It's good to see him again.
 
Ron will become the main anchor at KEYE in Austin this March, alongside former KVUE co-anchor Judy Maggio. Until his no-compete clause runs out, he's helping out at KEYE's sister station in Dallas, KTVT.

Wow! Ron and Julie "Manhands" Maggio are moving to KEYE, very cool. Too bad Dallas doesnt get to keep ron, as he's both a great anchor and a decent human being as well. He could offer the "Anchors" in this market a thing or two on professionalism and good behavior.

As a whole with anchors in this market, save tracy and jody, im not really impressed. I think ron has alot of knowledge to share and could also give the other stations in this market a run for their money.

I would've said that KPLEX, but I held back because shes such a non-issue at this point.
