I don't think that's funny. I think it's sad.
 
I agree. Tha's one of the stupidest things I've ever heard about, and I've been around a long time and seen a lot.There's bad taste, and then there's crap like this. They should be held accountable by being forced to do something constructive for their community. I'm thinking putting them in REAL orange jumpsuits and picking up trash along the highway. They could do call-ins every mile or so. Dumb bastages. and hey, don't give Olsen any ideas,OK? ha ha ha! Now that I think about it, Most of the stuff that got Ron in hot water was CONLEY'S idea. By the way, how many jocks who were on the air in 1984 are still at the SAME station today? I bet you could count them on one hand. The FM-100 boys are alright by me.<P ID="signature">______________

If this story gets some legs and makes it onto the endless 24 hour Cable news stream then I bet that these guys get canned. The fact that any onrnery old coot could've dusted off his .12 guage and blasted at these guys within the limits of the law will open up a morning gig in Tampa.

Never mind the legal liability is ANYTHING went wrong.

Lawyers would be tripping over themselves to represent injured plaintiffs against the jocks and the deep-pocketed owners of the station (since the jocks are agents of the company).

See, lawyers! Dang lawyers! Can't trust a one of 'em.

getting 911 backlogged because u try a stupid radio bit is the main problem here....what if some old coot (no offense to the old coots, you know who you are) is trying to get through to 911 for help but all the other old coots are calling 911 to get the prisoners off their yard?
