Ron St Pierre in for Helen Glover

He'll be filling in tomorrow morning. In a perfect radio world, this would turn into something permanent in some time slot or position at WHJJ.

I believe I predicted this.......Something tells me there is going to be a more permant thing for him by the end of the year there. If he goes even behind the scenes I could see a Cianci jump to HJJ aftenoons while Tara is being groomed for her own full time show on WPRO.

The fact that some folks here are actually hoping for the triumphant return of Ron St. Pierre says everything you need to know about how dull and boring the market really is.

HELP ME LORD !!!

We need new blood here.I am just making an observation.Ron could get HJJs numbers back up if he were in Charge. It sounded like no one calling him this morning and stalling to get people on phone line.
I could see them giving him a chance. The good ole boy network.

Kenny, as long as WHJJ is owned by CC, there is no way that they will go live and local outside of one daypart. CC talkers in much larger markets have only one to two live and local shows.

I agree with Dighton and Scott Burns on this one; Ron St Pierre did well this morning - I heard the show - but that does not automatically mean he gets his own show at the station during the day. And I know, there will be suggestions to drop Sean Hannity's show - it will not happen if Clear Channel has a contract to air the show from 3-6. However, I hear the Wall Street Journal Wrap is ending this month, and its on WHJJ from 8-10 weeknights, so maybe there could be a local show with Ron at that time spot. And maybe a show with Ron on weekends?

I understand its Cheap Channel but with Rons record and if he can make money for them I could see at least one more live Day Part.

CC's pattern seems to be the following: Allowing one station per cluster to be locally staffed. In Providence, that station is rightfully WHJY.
