Honestly I think ABC was tired of Rosie's antics and said "good-bye." I mean look at the line of BS the View gave when Star Jones was let go. I also agree it would be no loss to television if the View was cancelled.

See this is where you are misguided. If ABC was "tired" of her antics, they would not have been trying to lock her down for another 3 years. While I am sure that ABC did not agree with some of your waaaayyyyy off-the-beaten-track rantings, they were loving the attention the show was getting, not to mention the ratings. Plus, the purpose of the show's "Hot Topics" is for different VIEWpoints/opinions. And that's what Rosie was expressing -- her opinion.

I also agree it would be no loss to television if the View was cancelled.

And again, you're not in the demo, so what you think is irrelevant. Plus, the show, while you and others (guys) on here don't like it, it is a vital show for the demographic that is NOT on any other network -- OTA or cable.

That was just it. If anyone had a differing opinion, Rosie became a bully and with her loud voice drown out the opposing view. She always had the last word. Adios!
 
Rosie and Donald Trump should make amends, as an exclusive on next season's Oprah premiere. When the Apprentice was hot, Oprah had Trump on, and she had Rosie back in the 90s I think. The other ladies of The View should pop in the episode in the middle, as well.

Perhaps Katie Couric who isn't doing so strong on CBS News should consider the anchor job on The View. Then it would be like just Katie and Meredith switched jobs.
