TMZ is reporting a rumor that Rosie will be announcing her departure from the View tomorrow.

Donald's been correct about Rosie all along. He even got the timing right. Now Rosie will go off and do her own show...which will again fail like everything she does.

Elizabeth Hasselback is a joke, she's only on the show cause she's pretty. What did she ever do to deserve fame? Went on "Survivor" she didn't even win. Of course the same could be said about Rosie.

That said, somehow you get the feeling Rosie was told to leave though the official reason says that ABC wanted her for a three year contract and she only wanted a year. But I guess she does pull in the ratings. Maybe she wants to get another talk show. Rosie's comedy act is entertaining and she is personable, she needs a GOOD manager that'll teach her how to be less forthright with her comments. Especially since no one asks and the aren't backed up.

Let's analyze....I guess technically you could say Donald was correct when he called her fat. Because she is overweight. That is true. Although he sounded like a 4 yr old on the playground when he did it. But his other statements, are all garbage, just like his is. He's such a self centered jerk he couldn't even admint that Martha Stewart's Apprentice failed, because it was his dumb idea....Had nothing to do with Martha, is was all him.

And for everything Rosie has done she failed at? UM, don't know where yer getting yer info, but you would happen to be quite wrong. No, wait. I stand corrected. She did a sitcom on Fox called Stand By Your Man with Melissa Gilbert that tanked pretty quick. But other than that...

hmmm, let's see:
1. A number one highly rated and awared daytime talk-show.
2. Working successfully at raising awareness so that same sex couples can adopt in Florida.
3. Working with a number of organizations for charity and health.
4. The View's ratings skyrocketed when she came on.
5. Started a very successful Family Vacation company.
6. Has a Rosie's For All Kids foundation that gives milions of dollars every year to kids..

And some other stuff to. So, like her or hate her, that is your opinion. But you can't say she failed at much, well...because you would sound like a typical rabid right winger who doesn't pay attention facts and spin things waaaay out of control.

The View's ratings have not "skyrocketed" and they certainly did not right after she started on the show. In fact, they've fallen back after a 15% increase in February of this year.

We're not here to discuss her personal life (as bad a drama as that has been), but her many professional "failures".

The best thing she's done was this week talking about toilet paper...of course, she had to disgust the American public to do so...

The Rosie O' Donnell talk show was considered successful for most of its run. It won its time-slot clearances from stations across the country in the 90s, over weaker shows. It ran for 6 years. It's definitely a big debunker in your argument. And, when it ended, most stations were still running her show in the daytime. The same can't be said about most daytime talk shows when they are up [cancelled].

Donahue's show was cancelled also, and his last year ratings were poor. But, his show WASN'T a failure, nor was his professional career, even though his return to television on MSNBC didn't succeed. It [his original show] lasted and outlasted so many other shows.

Let's clear this up RIGHT NOW: Rosie was NOT fired. Not even close. Donald is wet-dreaming. In flood proportions.

Donald will never admit this, but he wishes his last 2 installments of "The Apprentice" had a fraction of the popularity -- and ratings -- "The View" has had since Rosie took over. She actually made "The View" relevant.

Umm...when it comes to daytime TV, they sure did skyrocket. And you can spin the fallback all you want. The only thing it'll prove is you're not very bright. "The View"'s ratings are still WAY higher than they were 1 year ago.

I can't stand Rosie O'Donnell, sorry about that, but she quit her Rosie O'Donnell show to become Mrs. Kellie Carpenter and to raise her children, it wasn't cancelled, Caroline Rhea took over her show. The sitcom the poster was referring to was "Stand By Your Man" which also starred Melissa Gilbert lasted only a few episodes in 1992. The Rosie magazine was canned because Rosie was going to be sued by another magazine because she copied their covers and images.

Good for Rosie for quitting The View before she got canned by ABC. She's got a mouth that is big as the Grand Canyon and doesn't know when to keep it shut.
