Ross McIntyre is Back on WTTS-FM

After a hiatus from his voiceover work on WTTS-FM, it appears that Ross McIntyre is back. I sort of liked the fact that WTTS wanted to change things up; however, the new voiceover artist (younger sounding actor) did not quite work. I am sure that after years of hearing Ross's work on WTTS had a lot to do with that. What do others think? Do you like Ross? Did you like the new guy? Do you still want a change? Let's discuss...

Personally, I don't think the average listener cares. It's not the quality of voice, it's the quality of content (writing and production) that really matters. Ross sounds good!

Heard their "truly local, truly independent" promos recently. That's what WTTS really is in this market. Went to their re-designed website. Noticed the new promotions guy is just in from Q95.

I like the older guy. A few times I was given one of WTTS' music surveys, and at the end they asked for any feedback, good or bad. I always mentioned the new guy sounded like someone I'd expect on a Disney Channel. It took a few months but I am very happy to hear the more mature voice is back. Signed, a former broadcaster (20 years and counting in hiatus) and current average listener.
