ROULA saves GREECE...

I think this is really worthwhile. How cool if her listeners pony up and actually save a part of history? How many people can say that? Good for her.

Edit: I can't figure out what W***E means. Can I buy another vowel?
 
I will be the first one to say that I am not a fan of Roula's radio work... AT ALL...

However, I don't have a problem with her doing this. For one, she isn't asking for limitless contributions to some ambiguous organization to help with generic "relief efforts" in Greece. She is looking for a specific amount for a specific item that would help in a defined manner. I think she is going about it the right way.

Secondly, she is Greek and is very proud of her heritage. I am from Louisiana and, while not from the New Orleans area, did sympathize and contribute with everything going on there. I don't really question her motives here. I think her motives are fairly benign and sincere here.

Oh and I am pretty sure I got the W***E reference...
 
I think it's a good idea as well.

The "w***e" is supposed to be whore.
I never thought it applied.
 
How ugly. Such things tend to say a lot about the speaker.
