Roula was (kinda) on TV last night

All the channels were covering fan reaction on the street and one channel went to Westheimer where cars were driving by and honking at the camera. (I think this was Channel 11.) The camera was staying on the passing traffic when the reoprter said something to the effect of: "Here's an Astros fan, how excited are you?" and the fan was clearly Roula. I was wondering why they didn't show her face- at that point a red light caused traffic to die down pretty much. But they didn't take the opportunity to show her.

My question to you all: Could this be due to some contractual obligation that she couldn't be shown on the air? I'm stretching but it's just too weird! I laughed and told my wife, "Listen! It's Roula!" And then she noticed, "Look, they're outside Christie's Seafood!"

Am I on to something?

I think you're reading into more than what's really there.
Did I word that right?

Because you dance to disco but you still like rock.</P>

I'll accept that. You didn't hurt my feelings. But I wouldn't put it past Clear Channel to have a hit team following her around to make sure she doesn't "appear" on any local media. ;)

Thanks

Heh, despite the perceptions some people have, I think they have better things to do. :)

Yeah they better be looking at other ways to make their station better (like a better mix of music), "Sam The Savior" can't do it all by his old self.

If this was the case, how could Deborah Duncan be on KHOU and KTRH?? Do non-compete agreements regard TV and Radio same thing?

The Sam Malone Show matches the music. They both suckballs!

Yes R&R were the only thing I listened to on radio, all the Houston channels suck. I will stick with my massive selection of cd's and leave radio to the masses. (oh I forgot KHMX with Sam Malone just lost the masses, noones listening anymore).
