Roundtable Ends

I have never, ever, ever been a Teddy and Karla fan. But as the Rountable ends, I have to say how much I admired their hard work and the quality in which they practiced their craft. Always radio professionalism at its finest. Here's a toast to a great 20-year run. **Chink** Nashville radio will miss you.

I was an ocassional listener to the "Round Table", Even though they were not my
favorite local talkers, I must say that Teddy and Karlin worked hard to try to have a balanced show. They always had someone representing the republican point of view as well as the democrat point of view. Usually this sounded like a 3 on 1 battle as they often sided with the democrat, but I must commend them for having both sides represented, most talkers will not do that.

Teddy has had a good career in Nashville media, Channel 4's Noon show in the 70's, WSM's waking crew and his own talk show on WSM, Channel 4 news, anchoring Channel 2 news at one point, WLAC radio, WWTN radio, co-ownership of 1240 WKDA
for a while, and then with the Round Table on 1160 WAMB. (I am probably leaving a few things out) This is not the way Teddy's career should end. I hope something happens to either prolong the life of the Round Table or other doors of oppertunity open for him in the near future.
