Route 81 Changes

Paul Lyle out ... Jamie Evans in as GM of the group in Corning. Paul apparently headed to Branson, Missouri. Changes should be interesting to witness.

WHAT THE?? WHO THE?? WHERE THE??? (IS SOMEONE LOST OR IS IT ME?) ???

CAN ELMIRA GET THEIR OWN BOARD, OR DO THEY LIKE MAKING BINGHAMTON'S LOOK EVEN WORSE.

uh ... the board for binghamton does have this listed with it ... "For discussion of radio in Binghamton, Elmira, and the Southern Tier of New York."

Guess you didn't know huh?

Sorry if you thought it was just FOR YOU!

I worked with Paul in the early 90's when he was the midday talk show host at WGR News Radio 55, Buffalo. Any details as to what he'll be doing in Branson? Thanks.

Not in Branson. He'll be in Pittsburg, KS/Joplin, MO. He's the new GM of KKOW/KBZI.

Here we go ... all the info ... instead of hearsay ...

I wonder if this will mean any changes comming to the cluster. Probably not, but I always thought that the 92.7/97.7 simulcast was a bit pointless. There is quite a bit of overlap between both frequencies. They could keep the AC on one of them, and run another format on the other. My opinion, for what it's worth.

Thanks for the update and links on Paul Lyle. I wish him well. The article reports he was also on the air. Did he news or a talk show?

Paul did some AM talk during morning drive .... Then took over alot of the remote broadcasts before his departure last Saturday.

Good luck Paul!
