Rover In The Doghouse Following Arrest For Assault, Fireworks

First Galetti, then Crumpton, now Rover...what is it withthese guys?

He'll probably get a slap on the wrist and a minor suspension, but I can't see Clear Channel canning him.
 
What a "morning glory" that early morning romp must have been. People who live 'on-the-edge' have to expect to get cut now and then. I recall some years ago when "Rover" was set to be the main radio personality behind a visit by, I think it was, The Blue Angels, a high-flying air show. Something happened that lead the Angels to drop him and go with the Les Szekely, the morning drive personality at AM 930 WEOL. On a subsequent show, Mr. French trashed WEOL and Les mercilessly even though they had nothing to do with the Blue Angels deciding to cut ties with "Rover's Morning Glory".
 
Rovers Morning Glory is the armpit of morning radio in this town. Such a far cry from when WMMS was in their heyday with Jeff/Flash and the Buzzard Morning Zoo.

But like Trivisonno, Rover has listeners. Flash has moved on, and Jeff is great as the morning show host at WONE.

Rover will get people to tune in to see if he has anything to say, and the drama at 6200 Oaktree will continue in the afternoon with Triv putting in his two cents worth. And it is common knowledge that Triv and Rover are not friends.
 
Seems like direspectful actions are like a positive thing in helping bring out good in our society. It seems like this would be a great time to put away another "Stern Wannabe". Let music and and real talented dj's be brought back to Cleveland airwaves. I want to know what good Rover is to CC. They have more money in the money vaults as a large and empowering empire to move on without Rover. Rover is just a corn kernel in poop to them. He commited a crime. Like any of us in the real world who would do the same..Our asses would be fired instantly.
 
I will say Rover's not the same as he was on 92.3. His show was even different then.

As for Maxwell, there's no way he's coming back to Cleveland. Why should he and 'MMS deal with each other?-
 
Quite amazing..How a horrible radio show host has to do dumbass things to get his name out there. How some area listeners think he is so great. And for some to even think Maxwell was so great. Jeff Kinzbach still is a natural. He can cover all bases without the smut. Welcome back Jeff..Alot of prayers have been answered .WONE still rocks!..Rover is a ordinary citizen like all of us..He did the crime ..He must do the time.......along with his sidekick "Chocolate Charley".. How pathetic has Cleveland radio become ? How pathetic has humanity become to think the garbage Rover talks about is intelligent radio. This is still the U.S.A. I have my freedom of speech to offer up my opinion on this matter.
