According to Feder on Tuesday, Rover went into the hospital during his show on Monday, and Tuesday was planned to be a rebroadcast. Well this morning's show still sounded like a rebroadcast. Anyone know the story?

From his web site...Rover left the studio in the middle of Monday's show with severe abdominal pains. He initially went home, but had to be transported to the hospital shortly thereafter.Rover remains in the hospital, and the show will be Best-Of until further notice.Rover issued the following statement late Wednesday evening:"I appreicate the compassion and support all of our fans have shown over the past few days, and appreciate all of the best-wishes I've gotten through email. It means a lot to know that you're thinking of me! I hope to be back in the studio soon!"Rover is undergoing further tests and treatment. We will keep you updated. And to prove the rampant Internet rumors that Rover has died false, here are some exclusive RoverRadio.com pictures showing him in the hospital!http://www.roverradio.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=154&Itemid=49

Hope he gets well soon but he shouldn't be dumping on Steve Dahl while he's on the air on his frickin .2 share radio show. Get a clue about Chicago and how they love their personalities. Dahl is past being hurt by idiots like Rover. But hey, get well bud.

Read in the trades that Rover's producer has moved on...anyone in the market have any info why? Was he ever on air or more of a behind-the-scenes-type of producer?Worried as to whether to throw my hat in the ring for this in case he gets blown out by Infinity.---kyle_nyc

Joe Bartosch previously worked at the the SCORE as a fill-in host and score update guy. Has been gone about ayear. He also produced the Bears' games for 'BBM, not sure if he will still be doing that this fall.

I met "Joe B" about 13 years ago when he was the morning guy at then 96-7 I-Rock(The Wake-O-Rama). He was very down to earth and one of the coolest radio people I have met in person....and very knowledgable about it too. He'll land on his feet somewhere.
