Even so, he coulda sold the danged thing, kept his FMs, and had this whole mess behind him. I’m pretty sure KBET-AM wasn’t involved in this brouhaha originally because it doesn’t require music royalties payments.

I don’t know, but I’m pretty sure you can’t fix this level of crazy. He’s going to be left with a pittance of his business if he’s lucky…though he appears to have enough personal wealth to be the bandleader of the Titanic.

The court agreed with the motion that HARRIS LAW PRACTICE/ ROYCE LLC TO TURN OVER DEBTORS BOOKS AND RECORDS AND ASSETS TO CHAPTER 11 TRUSTEE. Ed did have a new legal rep on the call, arguing that records are private and hold privileged information should not be given to the trustee. FYI -The decided trustee is Michael W. Carmel does have the right to the records. He's a bankruptcy attorney based in Phoenix, and he will direct the sale of KFRH-FM 104.3 in Las Vegas; KREV in SF and KRCK 97.7 / 95.5 in Palm Springs. Let's hurry up and wait to HEAR what's next!

It was my understanding as well that the Vomit of Christian Yawns was the leading candidate to swoop in and obtain control of the stations.
 
VCY is interested...but not at the price they first offered. Can't blame them...station sale prices aint getting better, and dealing with Crazy Ed is a nightmare. Even with a Trustee in place, it'll be a roller coaster ride for anyone who bids.

Right now he's begging Sarah McLachlan to do a commercial for him that says "For less than $1 a day, you can keep a crazy man in control of his overpriced playtoys" while "Angel" plays in the background. "Won't you make that call today?"
