RTG MEDIA SELLS NON ARBITRON STATIONS

RTG Media has sold it's Douglas/Tifton properties to a Douglas group headed by John Higgs for a million and a half.92.5 and 96.9 have a lot of potential with the christian AC formats in place on the other Tift area stations.

The move comes as a big surprise. Then again, though, it's not all that surprising. After all, with Valdosta only having been an Arbitron-rated market for about two years, it was obvious that RTG Media wanted to concentrate more on its properties there.
