RTN on WSB HD-2 is GONE!

Where is RTN on WSB HD-2? There is only a red screen with a message that reads as follows:
As of 5:00 am on January 4, 2009, Equity Media Holdings Corp's contract to service the Retro TV Network has expired. EMHC attempted to coordinate a seamless transition, but despite repeated attempts to communicate with Luken Communications reps, it received no response. Please direct any questions reguarding the RTN network, programming and deilvery of services to : Luken Holdings, INC.
735 broad street, suite 1204

It is now back

Although with alternate programming not starting on the hour/half-hour. Probably a local backup in case of satellite feed/CASH hub failure. (All local RTN feeds are switched out of Little Rock...until now).

As for WYGA-CA...the two viewers that can see the signal are probably seeing either A) The message from above B) NTSC color bars or C) Black screen. Equity owns WYGA-CA (Lukin owns RTN now), so the RTN feed is probably gone from Channel 45.

Sounds like they're airing Equity's RetroJams.

Looks like the RTN affiliation has gone from WSB 2.2. The RTN logo is gone and the TV schedule is different and that 1AM live talk show which is now based in Chattanooga, is now gone.

I've been watching my RTN station here and I haven't seen the RTN logo either, but it's definitely still RTN. The overnight show is gone and the schedule is different because they're on the national feed for the latter and too busy trying to put together the local feeds again for the former.

I was watching Ironside this afternoon. The episode about the twin houses. At the moment we were going to find out the punch to the plot, a screen comes up with the new website address. It stayed up for nine minutes and went off just in time to see the end of the episode credits.

Because there are no local inserts, WSB has put up a permanent legal ID in the loser right corner.

Wasn't Unreliable Sources a show for all of the affiliates to carry or this like the Jimmy Kimmel situation where the network now has to negotiate with station affiliates to carry what is really a network show and if the station chooses, they can locally choose not to carry? I have tried to follow all that happened to RTN in December and early January. To be honest, it's kind of confusing as to who is carrying what and who will remain an RTN station. I know each RTN viewing market has the option to package which shows they want to air. Sales of the network and who the owners of the RTN stations were seemed to affect several markets but I didn't realize it got that complicated after a network sale. When Disney bought ABC or GE bought NBC I don't recall it affecting things very much on the viewer's end.
