RTV logo gone ... For good?

It's 7 A.M. and the colorful RTV logo is gone. I don't know if this is temporary or if it'll come back later. Of course, I must say (in all fairness) that since the name change in July--at least 'til now--Daytime is the only RTV show to air without the opaque logo....
 
Guess not! Look like the logo returned at 10 A.M. Usually, it sits during E/I programming, but not today, which begs the question: Will it be absent or present next Saturday morning (7-10 A.M.)?
 
I hate that RTV logo. Its too big, its in color and if they insist leaving it up all the time they should make it transparent. A color logo sticks out like a sore thumb when watching a B/W show. At least "this" TV has a somewhat transparent one. Screen clutter is one of my pet peeves. Our local Fox affiliate is now running huge pop up adds during syndicated programs. Now that is unacceptable.

I hate the pop ups too. Especially if the show is just starting. Food Network is guilty of this one. 30 Minute Meals has just started and within 2 mins it says next "Food Network Challenge." If you wanna tell me what's coming up next tell me closer to when the show I'm watching now is ending not when its starting.
 
One of the worst are the little people that stand in the corner of the screen and dance or walk across the bottom and make faces or wave.
One of my local stations runs a bloody Taco Bell pop- up during Two and a Half Men, Star Trek and other programs.
 
Well, it happened again--the RTV logo disappeared for EI programs this Saturday morning, but returned at 10 A.M. for The Hardy Boys-Nancy Drew Mysteries....
 
The FCC must've lectured them somehow that the RTV logo was overpowering the required E/I logo. If you look at ABC Kids and NBC/qubo, their network logos are shrunk down by a 1/3 during kidvid hours in order to make sure the E/I mark is front and center and prominent on the screen (CBS just puts E/I in a large font to keep the Eyemark the same size as usual).

Since RTV usually has only one logo bug they can send per feed (and depending on market it also has the subchannel number), I guess they turn it off for those three hours so they comply with FCC display regulations for children's E/I programming.
 
Then they better head for the CW network next, 'cause the CW4KIDS logo is bigger than the EI rectangle, even though they are connected....
 
It's week three, and the RTV logo has not appeared on Saturday morning programming. I think it's safe to say that it (as colorful as it is) won't be appearing along with EI symbols anymore....
 
It's official

This is the fourth Saturday that the RTV logo was gone from the EI lineup. Gone for good! Now, let's pay The CW4Kids a visit....
 
This isn't about the E/I logo, but it still is major improvement;

Last night flipping by, I noticed that the RTV logo on WBAY's version is now a muted black-and-white on-screen that is now less noticeable and has shrunk down at least 15%. I thought it was a black-and-white only logo, but it's also showing up on the color programming, so I think they've listened.

However if your station has a custom RTV logo you're out of luck for now; WITI's RTV (which has a "RTV 6-2" bug) still has the blazing orange bug.
 
Yeah, I noticed that on WHBF-DT. But this new logo was not on EI programming broadcast today. If the FCC got on the network's ass about it, the NBC, ABC, and the CW are also guilty as charged....Even Fox had an EI symbol just below the 4Kids TV logo before going off the air!
