Looks like RTV, My Family TV and Tuff TV will be airing "Michael Jackson's last movie" this fall.

ValCom, Inc. announced today that it will be releasing Michael Jackson's last movie on Broadcast TV and DVD.
The movie will be broadcast to over 300 television stations this fall through the My Family TV, Retro TV, and TUFF TV television networks. ValCom will be announcing the broadcast date for the movie in the near future.

Funny that they don't name the actual title in the press release at all, of course, so I looked it up and it looks like an awful reality show spoof called Miss Cast Away and the Island Girls that was pretty much blacklisted out of theaters in 2005 and received a piddling DVD release into the bargain bin.

Yup, seems appropriate for the Luken chain to be the one to 'world premiere' this film. I suppose they'll pair it with the world premiere of The Underground Comedy Movie 2 and a rare lost episode of Cold Squad to make for a night of television you won't want to miss. And you wonder why every station without an -LP or -CD suffix is running for the verdant hills of MeTV right now away from RTV because of this intelligent programming strategy ::).

Strange how they can't afford decent regular programming, but they can present something
like this. It really sounds like a grade C or less movie at best. But they're proud of it.

I think the press release is also practically misleading, especially as it gave no title -- when I saw "Michael Jackson's last movie", first thing that came into my mind is "This Is It", the concert film that was in production when Jacko died.
