RTV Owner On A Buying Spree

Except that that was when RTV was under ownership of Equity Broadcasting, which was hemorrhaging red ink at the time -- leading to the sale of RTV to Luken and, shortly after, eviction of RTV from Equity's satellite space.
 
Nice deal for MMTC: get a slew of analog translators from TBN as a donation, then turn around and sell them. MMTC also did that with their Wabasha, MN radio station that Clear Channel donated them.

That's the kind of broadcasting gig I want!
