RTV rebranded Retro TV

There's some duplication between Retro and ME-TV (Beverly Hillbillies, Route 66, The Saint). Could cause conflicts in markets where the two services compete.

The Beverly Hillbillies episodes on RTV are the public domain episodes. Most shows on RTV are now from the public domain.

This past week RTV (originally RTN now "Retro TV") has updetd its website to the URL now known as:

http://www.myretrotv.com

Ever since Luken took over RTN (Retro Television Network), they changed it to Retro Television, & changed the short version to RTV, & they still use RTV for their logo. For their website, it's been myretrotv.com for a few years now. So this isn't news at all. I know because I barely get WPVN-CD 24.1 (RTV) from Gary, IN, & the network still calls themselves RTV.

Apparently, at least some shows are offered on a non-exclusive basis. The same show shows up on multiple channels, cable channels or HD sub-channels. Not unusual any more. No conflict.

It's often not too hard to tell which episodes are public domain (somebody didn't bother to renew the copyright on a specific episode). The theme song is still protected by copyright, so for example on the Beverly Hillbillies you head generic banjo music and not The Ballad of Jed Clampett.
