Rude Awakening out at 680?

I know that sports radio is not the most popular topic on this board, but Monday morning I tuned to 680 to hear "Mike and Mike." The Fan's website lists Mike and Mike in the Morning on their spot this week but still lists Rude Awakening as the morning show. Anyone know something?

Personally, I like the ESPN Radio broadcasting better. Rude is better on FM Rock and Perry Laurentino is a hack. Nothing against Jamie Dukes. I know many on this board support all local broadcasting, but a lackluster sports city like Atlanta (lackluster because on average talent and fair-weather fans) can get away with a few local shows and the rest syndicated, where true sports cities like Boston and NYC can't.
 
First of all...there were a few days last week when they were on vacation and Rude Awakening still aired but with substitutes.

I tuned in today and heard Mike & Mike and felt it was a one-time deal because of the V Foundation radio-Phon but when I heard Buck and Kincaid this afternoon realized my theory is toast.

It's either vacation...or the show is axed. We shall see next Monday morning.
 
Actually I just realized something that would make Rude Awakening being axed mak no sense whatsoever. Jim Donnan is advertised to visit the show every day starting Aug. 3 per advertisements that are running on the Fan. So Rude Awakening must be taking the week off and will be back next week. Anything else doesn't make any sense.
 
I just spoke with his agent. Rude's on vacation, along with Perry and Jamie. Apparently, 680 didn't have any subs available so they just used Mike & Mike this week.
 
Darn, can't they at least let Laurentino go. Also that's the problem with the Fan with such a limited local presence they have no staff to pull from to fill-in.
