"Rudolph" KO's "Shreck" in a 2010 Tinsel-time throwdown!

I don't personally care for Shrek, but The Grinch will probably also turn up several times this month on TBS, Cartoon Network, or Boomerang.

The ancient yet honorable "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" on CBS easily topped "Shreck the Halls"/"Dr. Suess' How the Grinch Stole Christmas" recently on ABC. Read more at the link.

Rudolph is a classic! It's been an annual visitor to our house since I was born and we're now happy to show it to the kids. The difference is that now I have much more appreciation for the talents of the late Mr. Burl Ives. Not even the Grinch can outdo him.

As anotherguy pointed out, Grinch will be on many times - we already watched it on TBS a week before Rudolph. For us, the next big kids' Christmas specials are the Peanuts and Frosty.

By the way, what happened to Home Alone? TBS used to show that every Thanksgiving night. I have yet to see it. Also missing from TV around Turkey Day was Planes, Trains and Automobiles. What gives?

They'd better not mess with A Christmas Story......

The first two Home Alone movies are played almost year round now, and it seems like it's been that way with Christmas Vacation this year as well. And P.S. I agree with you about A Christmas Story! :)
