Just thought a refresher course on R-I rule #3 might be in order.

------
...ratings from a site which has an Arbitron license is forbidden. In addition, Arbitron does not allow linking to sites, even licensed sites (for example, R&R Online) which contain ratings information. From what we understand, it is acceptable to post rankings (i.e., KWNR is #1 12+ in Las Vegas).

Not that it's an inimportant rule, but has anyone on the Tucson board been doing this? I just don't think this post is needed...everyone in the Tucson board follows the rules about not posting numbers. But, there are also boards that highly violate this rule. But, this post isn't need on the Tucson board. But for a reminder...I guess I'm not the judge for this after all.

Without getting into specifics, there's a post below that mentions a few numbers, while not listing them. It's a gray area, as far as I'm concerned, which is why I err on the side of not bothering to say anything or remove posts. Barely worth mentioning, but someone brought the post to my attention. Another moderator would remove or edit without notification, and they wouldn't be wrong to do it. Not to worry.

You're right, by the way. Everyone here rocks. No problems in a long time.
______________

"Sounds like a long shot, but with a 1.6, they're desperate."

I see what your saying.

Seeing as how 99.9% of the posts on this board and most of the other boards negative, I would think that posting numbers is a non issue...

It's an arbitron thing, not a Radio-Info thing. A non issue as far as I'm concerned, but they're serious about it.
______________

Yeah, Arbitron doesn't want people posting money demos. Would you like the amount of your money posted on a website? Exactly; it goes either way.

As far as the Tucson board, it's not much of a problem, the only problem I've ever seen is off-topic posts. But, there are many boards on this site that highly violate the rule, and on some boards, the moderators are going crazy getting money demos and numbers off the site.

But yeah, no prob for a reminder, it's just not a problem on this board. I just thought it was a little unnecessary.
