RUMBA LATINA 97.5 SCRANTON AREA

I Read In The Newspaper That There Is A New Low Power FM Connected With A Spanish Dance Studio Called

"The Latin Quarter" In South Scranton.

Dave,

Is that the old Tom and Jerrys?? I pinpointed the signal near the Yankee Lunch (one of my faves) a few months ago. Its likely Part 15 which is essentially between 50 and 100 milliwatts which should only cover a few blocks.

ARRIBA!!! ARRIBA!!!!!!
I think they have a dance studio in Luzerne County, too--right next to Hops & Barleys. Whole Lotta Salsa Shakin Goin On!!!!

I picked up a stereo signal on 97.5 broadcasting dead air in downtown Wilkes-Barre tonight.

Kevin,

I Rode Thru South Scranton Last Night ... That Dance School Is Where The Old Shorten's Market Was At Pittston And Either Saginaw Or O'Hara Street. (Down From Hilltop Manor). That Is Where That Low Power Station Is Supposed To Be Broadcasting From.

A quick check of the FCC FM Quiery shows two LP "New" allocations for NEPA. One is for Scranton and the other is for Dickson City. Perhaps one of these is our latest Hispanic programming?
