Remember Rumble & Thrower of EAGLE 106/Philadelphia? Where are these guys? Thanks!

IMO, the best morning show Eagle had (and yes, I count Lander in there...just one person's taste).

They were also really good at KMPZ Z-98 in Memphis. Unfortunately, the station got sold when Dittman was having financial trouble, and the new owners immediately flipped it to oldies in about '90. I remember returning to Memphis to go to school at Memphis State in '93, and I still missed that station. FM-100 and Ron Olson never did much for me, even if he's an institution there. I also didn't care for WEGR's morning show, which was another long running morning show. In fact, morning radio in Memphis seemed like a wasteland to me without their show. I sat my alarm clock radio to WRVR and turned it off almost immediately after getting up. I didn't listen to the radio again until after 10 AM!

Thrower did mornings at WAHR in Huntsville til recently.....All Access says he is done with radio
and is pursuing an education in medicine in Little Rock, where he owns a home.

That's really sad to hear but an obvious better move. He was/is a talented jock who fo some reason had a hard time finding work. Just goes to show you how many dumb ass Consultants/GM's/PD's are running the show these days.

The dude probably wanted more than 80K to do mornings and have some relative freedom on air. Can't have that now can we? No matter how educated, talented you are there is always some clueless GM/PD riding your ass for the stupdiest things.
