rumbling at Emmis WTHI FM

Don't care to start rumors, but what would cause a split after so long? I can't imagine HI-99 flipping...they have TH so cornered.

(BTW, since I had to do research, Hall was PD and evenings on WTHI-FM)
 
Actually he was Prod Director and hasnt done an airshift in years.

The official reason was downsizing. They eliminated his position and will distribute the workload among the remaining staff, who arent too pleased at the whole thing. The airstaff told management in a bitch session the next day that they should have been able to come up with some other alternative.

Cracks are beginning to show in the long time market leaders foundation. And how will the sale of WTHI-TV affect them in the long run? And how about the possibility of a new country player in the market bringing some heavy hitters on board? It might be interesting to keep an eye on this market in the coming months...<P ID="signature">______________
