Rumor - Classic Sesame Street to be available On Demand

I heard a rumor from Sesame Workshop that there is going to be this new website called SesameStreet.org. Apparently, it is supposed to launch June 1st, and it is going to have Video On Demand of clips of Sesame Street. Now, I don't know if it will have episodes that I consider "old" like from the 70s and 80s, but I hope it does. Does anyone else know anything about this?

Well, apparently, they actually got this idea from YouTube. Because several people have uploaded classic Sesame Street material, and they always get the hits. So it appears that they finally realize that they have an audience for nostalgic fans. It took them long enough.

What's the appeal of this? Did they have different letters and numbers back then? j/k

While letters and numbers never changed, the styles and attitudes did -- Sesame Street in 1969 looked markedly different than Sesame Street in 2007. Even Sesame Street in 1989 looked markedly different than today. Some of the most-remembered segments came from the 1970s.
