Rumor - Fox Format Flip?

Re: 105.7 is stunting!

I actually kind of liked the Cheers. From that I thought maybe they were going comedy. That would be cool. All the people I know that have satellite say they listen to the comedy stations the most. Also, Bob & Tom would fit.

If you ask me, it's going to be mostly the same music, just a re-image. Hair band based Eagle Rockin' 80's and 70's didn't really work that well, must be an out of the market decision.

Eck! and their "stunting" Cheers Audio on 105.7 right

It normally takes "some time" for DNS changes to propogate all over the WWW. What you were experiencing was probably just hitting different DNS mirrors each time you tried the URL.

Both sites are being forwarded. The IP of 1057thefox.com and 1057thebrew.com are the same as the old fox site. clearchannel.com is a different IP. They did this so they can switch to the new web site immediately without waiting for DNS to propagate.
______________

They keep playing beer commercials, so my money is on The Brew. I was surprised not to hear B&T this morning, but I guess it's a good way to let your regular listeners know a change is coming.
______________

The only normal thing they have done since the stunting started was the Browns game yesterday. Sounds like they will be keeping The Browns when it does change.

I'm sure they're under contract and required to, at least until the season is over. If they do go "The Brew" I'm sure B&T and The Browns will remain.
______________

Damned if you aren't dead on. wtvn.com, 610wtvn.com, wcol.com, wnci.com, hineygate.com, etc all point to the same IP address.

So that got my mind wondering... is it the same IP address across all markets:
wtue.com, 933flz.com, and 700wlw.com use the same IP address but wiot.com, rock103.com don't. Looks like they don't have any rhyme or reason behind it but it looks like most are on the same IP. Very clever. Granted I know very little about how DNS works, just that I have experienced what Nu_Roo_2 has with DNS caching (which I did incorrectly refer to as propogation... learn something new everyday)
