If you mean Jones and Joan on Lite 105 I think there might be a money issue which is probably why Gary De Graide is gone. If she ends up on the street she may be in no position to bargain as she isn't going anywhere else but that's another matter. What happens to her husband? Also I don't think Lite Rock would cut Heather loose just to make room for someone else.

Considering B101 just bought a brand new jingle package I dont see them straying from what they are doing now espeically while numbers keep going up.
If your talking about 102.7 being headed by Steve Conti thats old news.

It has to be the exodus of the "Coast Morning Crew", and the installation of Whoopi in mornings at WSNE. Regardless if the show is any good or not, the show's been spreading like a disease with the addition of Las Vegas and likely Rochester and Milwaukee.

John Lander? Yeah Yeah Boston I know, but a lot of folks I work with in S. County tune into Mix in the AM. I heard on the Boston Board he might be moving out soon, but who knows.

Lander isn't all that but even so he's got some heavy major market experience and isn't about to come to Providence. Coast or Lite are the only stations he fits anyway and if Coast lets people go due to $$$ then Lander isn't the answer anyway. Book starts 9/21 so any changes would have to be right around the corner and if Coast goes with Whoopi they sacrifice this book right off the bat. Frankly I think it's conceivable that they finally decide to say goodbye to Joan and crew but I don't see them going with a syndicated show in the morning. Now what would anyone here think of Joan and Chuck moving over to Cat Country if they had to?
