Rumor Mill

richards aint gonna be back unless hes bying the station
maybe regent will buy it will be a nice addition
 
I know this is the rumor mill, but the page 1 rumor of Bob, Steph, Cliz and Bruno ain't gonna happen (unfortunately). Bruno's busy with his biscotti biz and other interests, Cliz won't be back (bit by AMP), Steph's concentrating on her new career. Bob's been part of a morning team in Jackson, MS, and while he and the family may very well want to come back this way, there's no doubt he knows what's been happening at S. 18th. I would be surprised if he'd be willing to risk it. mw (forgotten, but not gone)
 
As someone who "went back" to the bldg on South 18th St several times, under several different owners, I can say unequivocally that I would never, ever consider going back there while AMP owns it.
 
MW, You, know as much as anyone knows what really went on.....on the inside. Glad to see you reading these threads. You are one of the greatest talents and most dedicated "employees"..."talents"..."voices"...."production people"...."mechanics" this market has ever known. It gives me pleasure to see that you watching what people are saying. On a similar note, I was told on the street this week that you left AMP voluntarily. I can assure you, I set the record straight. That is, if the street talk is right. Rumor is, Rick did not want you to go to the point that he made artie come in and do it himself. Good for Rick. Fred should not have said that you left on your own. Bad for Fred.
 
Thanks for the too-kind words, Lurker. Mrs. Warner isn't that generous with the compliments, even on one of my better days ;). Oh, and I have 6 check stubs from Indiana Department of Workforce Development that should answer any questions concerning the (all too short) 7-week hole in my resume. So, enough about me, 'cause there's like 3 people on this board who know who I am, and there are a heck of a lot more interesting rumors upon which to speculate :D. live Aloha. mw
 
Bob Richards coming back!!! I about wet myself! That's funny! If that's what they were going to do they should have done that back in September when they let Gavin go....no offense Scotty! The original wake-up crew with all of our cast...Bob, Cliz and Bruno was great radio, but don't expect it anytime soon. 4andthe door, you make me laugh, funny like a clown!!! Have your people call my people! :)
 
Bob is teetering and Steph would come back for right offer. Could Cliz follow? Might work if they let him be an independent contractor.
 
Bob Richards and the Crew back together!? Well...as much fun as it may have been a few years ago, that type of radio is dead, and dead it needs to stay. WAZY needs new talent and fresh ideas. If they want to really sink one into to B102 and bring the station back to life, they need to be thinking outside the box.

Arts are just humoring Bob. They're not going to bite. Why travel the same road that got them to where they are? I agree with Geek on the WAZY board, time to sit back, relax, and see what the new ship sails in.

Sorry Bob & Friends, you're not on board.
