The above IS my disclaimer for this. A friend of mine who works there has indicated somebody wanted to purchase all the stations Radio One owns here in the A-T-L. Can anybody confirm? If so, it would be very interesting, would it not? ???

Sure...and there is someone who wants to buy Cox, Cumulus, CC wanting to and be able to are two different things.
 
That's not likely to happen. Atlanta is too important a market for Radio One, and the company obtained its stations here at bargain basement prices, basically creating signals from scratch.
