RUMOR: WNBC-TV layoffs???

That really stinks! Why don't they try shedding some fat in Fairfield (GE HQ) instead?

Once again, it will be the viewers (and reporters let go) who suffer...
and not the corporate executive making too much money, who can't even successfully run the company/station.

Not to mention, "Jane's New York" was a pretty neat program. I wonder where they'll all end up.

There's a term for firing someone because they're old. It's called age discrimination and it's illegal. Do you have a problem with the way he does his job or just the fact that he's old?

And not just in New York. George Michael at NBC4 in D.C. is going into semiretirement.
