Rumors are like big pits of fire

They keep you warm at night when the whisky isn't flowing.

So while strolling through the hallowed halls of radio-info.com I came across a topic of conversation that piqued my interest. It seems that the rumor mill has been grounding up the Howard corn, and spitting it out at radio savants. Sirius may be making a deal with Citidel to put Howard back on the air on some of their stations a la O and A. It's probably just a rumor. They would have to heavily edit his show for content to air with minimal fines. Would be interesting to hear him back on the air.
Howard only got a portion of his listeners to go with him to Satellite and I think that he doesn't care. People talk about his ego and how he must be mad that he has fallen off the radar and not the talk of the town everywhere. I think he just doesn't care. He is at the age where he made his impact on radio, made a name for himself, and is VERY comfortable. I bet he could care less if he was put on both radio, satellite, cracker jack box, etc. He is just doing his thing for a a few more years. Proof: he is still being talked about on these boards.

I can see it now.... Howard in the morning, KIM all day! Heck, bring back Power for the overnights.
Mon-Friday: Howard 6a-10a
KIM FM-10a-12a
Power-12a-6a
Weekends: Country

Call it 'RADIO A.D.D.' <--Paxel for your ears.

What's the worst that could happen?

98.9 just flipped to that format. They're calling it, "I'll DO Kim 98.9". ;D

Besides, Howard has a hot girlfriend, and strippers flock to him...he's a Female magnet! Why didn't we SEE this???? ;)

Why not put Howard on 98.1 and move Drake/Zeke to afternoons?!

Then again "I'll do Kim 98.9" does have a nice ring to it! ;D

Howard has publicly stated that there is no way that he will ever return to terrestrial radio. Those are just rumors. The New York Post will write stories about just anything.
