This was from the rumor that CBS may sell their stations with no TV possibility (anything can happen, as it's a rumor) in the national forum. As CBS Radio in Orlando has no TV partner, it could be next. They currently own Adult Top 40 Mix 105.1, CHR/Top 40 AMP Radio, and Classic Hits Sunny 105.9. A sale to Salem, EMF, or Z88 is a suicide move, so let's not let that happen.
Please don't. Who would acquire those stations?
iHeart has all the station's rivals, Magic 107.7 vs. Mix, XL 106.7 vs. AMP, and Real Radio 104.1 vs. Sunny (only weekends, only classic rock music). Same goes for Cox, Power 95.3 vs. AMP and 98.9 WMMO vs. Mix and Sunny.
Could we see Beasley enter the Orlando market? Like I said, anything could happen. What's certain is that either way, 101.9 AMP Radio will switch back to 102 JAMZ
)
Everybody will be happy, IMO) , as CBS has the rights to AMP Radio.
But if Beasley gets all the CBS Radio stations (excluding TV, and get back WPOW-FM), then they will have the rights to AMP Radio, and B103.9 in SWFL will become 103.9 AMP Radio, and then Beasley will become the 3rd biggest station owner. Beasley, now that's what I call from rags (only a handful of stations) to riches (lots of them)!!!
