Rumors?

Always a lot of buzz, but one does not repeat it in the business, lest he be eliminated from the circle of information next time around...hence, most rumors you hear will be without merit...such is the animal in Mississippi....

You can only really pick up Q101 on a decent car radio with a scratchy signal at best in SOME parts of Jackson. Q101 never was nor ever will be a factor in the Jackson market.

it never was a factor but i never had trouble picking it up there. in the 80s i listened to it everyday in mccomb! i was just trying to figure out the logic of the move.

Methinks the logic may become apparent Monday morning. Then again, when does anything in this biz have to be based in any sort of logic? ;D

whatever happened to the rumor q102 montecello was going talk?

What rumor? WRQO-FM is now the latest "Supertalk Mississippi" affiliate. Been running it since right after the 4th IIRC. No more country or gospel music for Q102.

soory did not know. the last time i was there in late june it was still country classics.

No prob. It happened pretty quick, so not a lot of folks knew about it until it had happened already. I've got relatives in that part of the country and most of them aren't real happy about the change.

I used to be able to get Q101 all the time until WBBV Vicksburg moved from 101.1 to 101.3.
