Banned
From what I am hearing on the street, the real Party is all about Pina Colada's and Caviar Dreams
for the station that plays all the songs everyone on here hates...Looks like Rupert Holmes ain't getting
no break from the Nashville airwaves...

#'s that count:

#1 WJXA

#2 WRVW
#3 WNRQ
#4 WCJK (tie)
#4 WQQK

#6,311 WRQQ
station just under dead last: (including handful of stations off the air) WNFN...

Anyone have any thoughts on this?

It really all depends on who your sample is every quarter. When you think about how Arbie recruits, who are they really going to get? That's why quarter in and quarter out, you're not looking for stability, you're looking for movement, up or down. If you're trending up, you're golden, if you're trending down, you have to decide how low you can go before you change that format. All of the Big Boys have formulas they expect their stations and clusters to meet. They know which formats should bring in X amount and they know how low they can trend before they should just plug in a feed and put the thing on autopilot.

When RQQ was all 80's, and before that 80's and '90's, they did a whole lot better than they are doing now.

Let's see Cumulus has 5 stations in Nashville and only 2 are in the dumper, They probably see this as a positive. The 3 that aren't have the same formats they did when Cumie bought them, that should tell them something.
