You are right. Rushbo is the king of all radio and he can do and say anything he wants. Those who stand in his way will be crushed literally and figuratively.
Like this'll be the last time Rush will say something controversial!

That ain't gonna happen. In able for Rush to get out of business he has to lose KFI, KFBK(Flagship station on the west coast), and WABC(Flagship on the East).
Rush ain't going anywhere but on more radio stations. He is the king of radio and the anti-Rush crowd must learn to accept this fact: El Rushbo can say whatever he wants whenever he wants. And he fits right in on KFI with John&Ken.

Stern was broadcast, in his post-WNBC "success years" out of Infinity's WXRK in New York (1985-2006).
A good part of the move by Stern had to do with his vocal disgust with "censorship" from FCC standards and the fact that his "Godfather" Mel Karmazin had gone over to the satellite side. There is no comparable situation today for Limbaugh, so that's a poor example.
You are right about one thing. The best way for a radio star to disappear is to go to satellite radio. After Stern went there he became a radio footnote. Don't see any reason for El Rushie to go that route. He is a radio superstar.
Actually, Stern went to satellite first, with Mel following a year or so later.

Sleep Train requested to get back on board. Rush told them no. I applaud him for doing so.

What were their public comments that he didn't like? Did they dare call him a slut and a prostitute? If so, he is right to not allow them back on the air. They would have no right to use such language.
Only Rushbo can get away with that language because he is the king of all radio.
