Rush is done?

Do you think Rush Limbaugh is going to retire soon? Declining ratings. Seems like the public is wanting a change. I can't stand Sean Hannity...CAN HE YELL any LOUDER?

how many more times will Rush need to show up on the nightly news to tarnish his rep...and turn off his many dido heads?

Nothing and no one remains number 1 forever. But..is Rush done? Not even close. Whether or not you care for his politics, Rush is a master showman & promoter in the essence of P.T. Barnum. His ratings are declining?
Compared to his hottest streak of say 1994-1996, yes, they're lower..but you're talking tenths of points. With many strong News/Talkers, his show is the main anchor for their base numbers. Rush has a net worth bigger than most 3rd world countries. By virtually any yardstick, the man's a success. There is no question that the drug scandal has hurt him. But those who listen..both those who love him, and those who love to hate him, are still there..in droves. I would think that the last little "drug" problem involving the customs agents who hassled him over the unlabled Viagra are more of a problem for him than the oxycontin. What? The great Rush needs Viagra?? He's got a LONG way to go before he's finished, and I think that he will leave when he's ready, and not when somebody throws him out. And I'd be willing to bet, that time's a long way away.

I hear what your saying. Everyone has dips in their career but, Rush seems to be going through a valley right now.

Rush will not be charged with the recent problems with viagra.

I was watching MSNBC tonight and Rush made the countdown show compared to Osomma Bin Lauden. Now while I'm typing this david letterman is making fun of rush...it just keeps coming?

Rush, going to retire!! are you just stupid, he does his show from his home and he dosent put any effort into it!! It is easy for him to do it he has produces set up all interviews and do his phones for him, He is going to milk this business for all it is worth!! C'mon Damnit!!! Are we really that stupid!!

Well, at least *one* of us appears to be.

Not sure where you get your information, this is nothing wrong with Rush. Look at his numbers across the country is owns his daypart. 30 million listeners a week? WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?

30 million people, that is trumpt up numbers, he maybe has 10 million listeners on a good day. He makes up listeners...sorry get real rush is done a has been, pass the viagra.

What I've been wondering is why Rush, a newly divorced man, needs Viagara to travel with his middle-aged male buddies down to, of all places, the Dominican Republic? And doesn't everyone realize that there is a nototiously huge sex trade down there? It's not like you need Viagara to play golf.

While the Oxy thing was just an example of a successful man trying to destroy himself with drugs, the whole Viagara thing is pretty embarassing.

Did you see Rush on CBS Evening News with Fluffy Kitty....(oh I mean) Katie! He's porking up, returning to the fattest dude on the radio. But, Damit, He can...He's got the golden EIB mic. And I guess, the golden Pizza too.

I heard Rush state today his audience is now about 40 million people a week? Is that true??? Or is he making that number up. Sounds too big for his show??
