Rush Limbaugh 25th Anniversary

congrats on his 25 years. He's weathered some storms. Sometimes coming out better. Other times not so. But no one can argue he hasn't done what many thought could never be done.

Fixed. ;D

Unfortunately, he stopped being entertaining years ago, when he developed delusions of being a (if not The) major player in the Republican Party, only to have those delusions dashed when Obama was elected. He's been a bitter, angry old man ever since - just like most of his audience.

Mega-dittos, Keith.

He was entertaining when he was an independent conservative voice and often critical of the Republican establishment. And when he didn't take himself so seriously. He sold out and became a shill for the party leadership. His audience has ossified into a choir, not a congregation, of -yes - bitter, angry, old White people.

Dickey seems to still blame the FLuke Limbaugh feud as hurting radio advertising across the board, especially on talk radio. Seems somewhat off, but maybe I do not get what he is saying.
