Crappy,Fat Racist Guy ! Keep more JUNK, on Boston Crappy Radio Dial . A ESPN REJECT !

Care to provide some proof that Rush is racist, or are you just talking through your hat like always?
Rush "Black Quarterback" On ESPN, Thats all I need to hear from this Fat Pig. He is on my Al Sharpton, David Duke, and Jimmy The Greek, Racist list.
I hardly think suggesting the media was playing up a quarterback solely for being Black is racist. It's not like he said anything near what Jimmy the Greek said.

I asked for proof...not what you think you heard, or possibly didn't hear at all.
He got Fired from ESPN Because of What ? I dont think ESPN listen to me .

Rush is a comedian goofball. Sean H is an angry pigheaded bulldog.

For people who can think for themselves and seek information from multiple sources Rush & Sean are more like a ministers of disinformation, half truths and twisted logic.

He was never fired from ESPN.

He did resigned after seeing the comment took on a life of it's own and wasn't going away.

In any event, ESPN never cut him loose.

People who can think for themselves already know that talk-show hosts are entertainers, not news people. They are not paid to convey facts. I feel truly sorry for anyone who calls him/herself a "dittohead," as if it's supposed to be some sort of badge-of-honor that a person agrees with a talk-show host. Using a talk show as a fount of knowledge is a little like asking (the late) Bozo the Clown for the answer to a quantum physics hypothetical.

The ESPN gig was just the fulfillment of a dream for Rush. He is a huge sports fan, but knows where his talent is and where the money is made and that is as a political host.

He had a target on him from the second he got the gig, and I don't recall the exact comment he made so I will not defend him here, but he has gone far out on a limb with some of his stuff when it comes to race and I can't defend that

$400,000,000.00 buys a lot of OC, viagra, dominican vacations with local talent, and jet fuel for his Gulfstream. Nice work if you can get it.

Personally, as a conservative, IMHO Rush jumped the shark a long time ago. I'd rather listen to NPR and yell at the radio in disagreement than listen to Rush and yell at the radio because he has sold out the conservative point of view. Trying to get people to vote for a candidate is one thing, trying to interfere with the Democratic primaries is another.

How many stations will CC have to voice track to come up with the money to pay him

If you have a reference for where "ESPN made it known he would not be back on ESPN" please post it.

Otherwise, you are simply making things up (again).

Berman,Jackson and the rest of ESPN NFL Host, talk about Rush " Black Qarterback Crap " should not been aired on ESPN and that kind of talk, will not be part of the ESPN Family . When was the last Time Rush was on ESPN ( answer, his B QB Quote ) .

Show hosts are not management, and do not decide who appears on camera.

So, to answer spilot: Yes, he's just making it up again.

So, in other words, you have no source, quote or press release that ESPN owners or management "made it known that he would not be back".

As Dumber mentioned...show hosts do not make these decisions.

If Management decided to put Zsa Zsa Gabour on with them, they would have no say.

Do you see it staying on RKO till 2016?

FWIW, I've heard from, shall we say, "knowledgeable sources," that the Rumba format was (and presumably still is) a "profitable" one for Clear Channel. But given CC's push to sell off all but the most profitable stations...well, who knows what'll happen, ya know?

I checked the ratings page and couldn't find WKOX or XKS AM listed which seems to me a sign that fewer people are listening than when the station was AirAmerica. No ratings and a 50kW power bill seems pretty ludicrous to me- I wonder if the costs versus profits picture will change when the power ramps up? Profitable seems a weak word. He didn't say successful, huh...? Rumba might have better staying power on a 5 or 10 kW stick. What happens when a Hispanic format FM hits the Boston market?

I think WKOX and/or WXKS made it in in a few previous periods but not the latest one. The ratings
they got in those periods were fairly similar to what it got with libtalk--in one or two periods, like
the latest (and again this is 12 plus) it didn't show but otherwise it was similar. Basically the numbers
in 12 plus that WAMG, WEZE, and WSRS are getting is what Rumba is usually getting--and those
numbers (I can't quote directly) aren't all that diff. from what AAR did for them.

The thing about the ratings seen on that page is that if a station doesn't make the current period,
they won't list a station that DID make the cut before (got listed), but they did make the ratings before with both Rumba and AAR

Rush was paid by ESPN to comment and have people care about his comments. What he said was about four or five years ago and you're still talking about it. I'd say ESPN got what they wanted. Where is the outrage when a black reporter for ESPN says somthing stupid? Anyway, I dont know the business enough to know if Rush getting paid all that money is a good thing or bad thing. All I know is that I dont care what he gets paid, it's not my money, and it doesn't cost me a dime if I listen to him.

And The Hosts, Represent the company. If Management dont like what the Hosts said, The Hosts may get Fired, .( Rush last time on ESPN ? Answer, his stupid B QB Quote ).

I heard the remark when he said it and while I didn't agree with his assessment, I didn't find it racist either. However, he does like to throw the race card around when it's provocative. The incident below was amusing - he defaulted to race, then quickly backtracked when he found out he was mistaken.

He's a talented entertainer and he does a good job of firing people up. Enjoy the show, but as others before me similarly intimated, it's not the place to go to get informed.
